Nestled on seven acres of beautifully landscaped grounds, Chester Bed & Breakfast is a perfect place to have your wedding or commitment ceremony and reception. Located very near Charlottesville, Virginia and the University of Virginia, we offer an outstanding location for a beautiful outdoor wedding or for a smaller indoor wedding during the colder months.
Our specialty includes a wide variety of wedding services and wedding planning to help you to create an elegant affair that reflects your hopes and wishes. We gladly take care of all of the details so that you can focus on your wedding day. Most importantly, we will work closely with you to create the ideal budget and plan for your wedding. This ensures that small and large weddings get the proper focus and attention needed to make your wedding dreams come true.
Whether you have 5 guests or 150, we can help you to plan the perfect event. To give you an idea of costs, we offer two basic packages--one for garden weddings and one for small year-round gatherings--that can be customized to meet your needs.
Outdoor Garden Weddings (prices based on 100 guests) – April through October
 - Two nights accommodation for 10 guests (5 rooms)
- Full gourmet breakfasts for guests each morning
- Full and exclusive use of the inn and grounds for two days
- 40x60 white party tent, including sides, pole covers, and lights
- Adjacent catering tent
- Ceremony chairs on lawn underneath majestic oak tree
- Bathroom facilities
- Round tables, wooden chairs, and serving tables
- Set-up and clean-up of above
Cost: $7,000 plus tax

Year-Round Weddings – Intimate Gatherings for up to 20 Guests

- Choice of ceremony locations, including the front lawn, koi pond, rose garden, or in front of a crackling fireplace in the colder months
